Happy International Men's Day!!
Tonight we hold our usual Thursday meet at 9pm which is open to all members, male and female. The session will be hosted by some of our single dads.
Background to this day:
Former Prime Minister, Rt Hon Theresa May MP: “I recognise the important issues that this event seeks to highlight, including men’s health, male suicide rates and the underperformance of boys in schools, these are serious issues that must be addressed in a considered way.”
Welcome to International Men’s Day in the UK.
International Men’s Day in the UK is on 19 November every year (Thursday this year) – it is celebrated around the world in at least 60 countries.
Every year, International Men’s Day in the UK is marked by more and more women, men and organisations across the country. Across November in the UK there is a Parliamentary debate, policy launches, employer days, community events, health days, business events, debates, student events, political events, gigs, conferences, competitions, comedy nights and charity fundraisers – the most anywhere in the world.

our expert will share some self care tips. She says:
Why is self care so important now?
This year hasn't exactly been the kindest to us and all those things we took for granted seem to be slipping away!
Anxiety can be high and self care seems to be the last thing on our minds as we try to come to terms with the 'new normal'.
Emotional, mental and social health is a vital part of our wellbeing and that's why spending time exercising our self care muscles is equally important.
Looking after yourself before you can look after others is so important as you can avoid or reduce the symptoms of stress and anxiety.
Join us on Thursday 5th November '20 from 9pm

Who is interested in hiking the weekends when they don’t have the kids? Planning to start with shorter hikes to begin with exploring beautiful landscapes 😊🌻
Distance: 4.5 miles
This walk begins with an iconic view from the top of Richmond Hill down towards the Thames, the only view in the country protected by an act of Parliament.
Look out for deer as you head into Richmond Park and King Henry’s Mound, where on a clear day you can see St Paul’s Cathedral, 10 miles away.
After leaving the park, you’ll find yourself in the gorgeous village of Ham with its beautiful Georgian mansions and polo club.
If you'd like to take a look around Ham House, you need to book beforehand: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/ham-house-and-garden
You need to be a full member to join our events, and can do this by joining on this site.
There is a £5 deposit to pay to attend, (This will be refunded when you attend/cancelled due to poor weather for instance). It will be restricted to a max of 6 people due to government guidelines.

Due to her empathetic and pragmatic approach, she is able to advise a breadth of clients from those with modest asset divorces through to high profile individuals looking to protect their wealth through nuptial agreements and those separating with complex asset structures.

Irpreet advises families and wealthy individuals seeking to protect family wealth, inheritance and pre-marital assets through pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and has previously acted for clients wishing to protect international assets, including trusts interests, and inherited gifts of between £5-£10m from potential future divorces.
Irpreet particularly prides herself on working closely with her network of contacts to ensure her clients receive a holistic service and are introduced to relevant other advisers, such as private wealth lawyers, financial advisers, counsellors and investment managers where appropriate to ensure they move forward into their post separation futures fully supported.
