Marc Etherington – Solicitor

Published by aspnsylvia on

Marc Etherington is a Legal Director at Rayden Solicitors, based in London but he acts for client across the UK and abroad.

Marc is experienced in all areas of family law but is especially known for his children work surrounding complex issues of high conflict and domestic abuse, and technical finance work for those experiencing divorce and separation.  Given he expertise in this field, Marc often will undertake his own advocacy where litigation is unavoidable to provide his clients with the highest quality service, but utilise the benefit of a barrister as and when required.

Marc is also a qualified Collaborative Lawyer and one of the founding members of the ‘We Can Work It Out’ collaborative pod set up in London in 2019, which has since doubled in size. He is a vocal advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution where possible – the majority of Marc’s cases have been settled without the use of litigation due to his ability to cut through the legal issues, use modern techniques to resolve matters and make use of other family justice professionals in the profession.

Marc is closely involved in the work of Resolution, and has delivered training and webinars to Resolution members. He currently sits on the Resolution Parenting After Parting Committee, Resolution London Region Committee and Resolution Wellbeing Committee that he formed. Marc is currently elected on the Resolution National Committee by the membership due to his reputation in the profession.  His work in the profession has been recognised by being named Wellbeing Champion and YRes Rising Star by Resolution, and Highly Commended for Legal Commentator of the Year at the Family Law Awards by LexisNexis.
