Sarah Al-Jourani – Family Lawyer
I am a bilingual Family Law Solicitor and speak Arabic fluently. I have been with Irwin Mitchell since 2015 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2022. I deal with all aspects of family law including divorce, financial settlements and child arrangements and specialise in international and Sharia family law matters.
I have a particular expertise in Islamic divorce and the cultural aspects of divorce and child arrangements within Arab and Asian communities. My personal understanding of the nuances allow me to provide my clients with holistic support throughout proceedings and to consider things such as mehr, wedding gold and child arrangements for Ramadan, Eid and other religious holidays.
I have experience in dealing with international matters across the Middle East and Asia and have built an extensive network of contacts within various jurisdictions across the world.
I approach matters with empathy and understand that the types of matters I deal with can often be the most stressful time for my clients. I aim to ensure that they are supported in all aspects and strive to achieve their goal.
